BushHogging.com ("we," "us") provides bush hogging and tractor mowing in the Tampa Bay area. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.bushhogging.com or contact us through one of our ads, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you request a quote on our website, you may send us:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The property address and county
- Approximate acreage, photos of the property and any message you include
If you request a quote through a form inside one of our Google ads, Google sends us the details you enter there, such as your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code and your answers to any questions on the form.
If you call or text us, we keep a record of your phone number and what you tell us about the job.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours uses a few third-party tools:
- Google Analytics and Google Ads. These use cookies and similar technologies to record things like the pages you view, how you arrived at our site (for example, by clicking one of our ads), your general location, and your device and browser type. We use this to see which ads and pages bring in quote requests.
- Cloudflare. Our site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request data to keep the site fast and secure. Cloudflare Turnstile helps block spam on our quote form, and Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us visit counts.
How we use your information
- To review your property and prepare a quote
- To contact you about your request by phone, text message or email
- To schedule and perform the work, invoice you and keep business records
- To understand how people find us and improve our website and advertising
- To prevent spam and fraud and protect our website
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information or share it with other businesses for their own marketing. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run our website, forms, advertising and analytics (such as Google and Cloudflare), who may use it only to provide those services
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public
- As part of a sale or transfer of our business, if that ever happens
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and job records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations. Photos and details for quotes that don't turn into jobs are deleted when they are no longer needed.
Your choices
- You can ask us to update or delete the information you sent us by calling 813-677-1315.
- You can limit personalized ads from Google at My Ad Center, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
Security
Our site uses HTTPS encryption, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to handle your request. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.
Children
Our services are for property owners and managers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
